Phonk Slap Reflect Perfect Parry

Block at the right moment and turn a slap into a counter. The window is gold. Miss it and the purple ends your shot.

Reflect Perfect Parry

Version 1.0.6 introduced Reflect, a perfect-parry mechanic that rewards timing over button-mashing. When you block at the exact moment a slap connects, you trigger a counter-attack that is stronger than a regular slap. This page covers the window, the visual states, and how it interacts with the glove roster.

Pair this with how to play for positioning basics and controls for the full input map.

The Reflect window

Reflect activates when you hold your block input just before an enemy’s slap lands. The game displays a brief window — you will see the Reflect indicator turn gold while it is active. If you time the block correctly, the incoming slap is reflected back with extra force.

Once the window closes, the indicator turns purple. During the purple state, you cannot reflect — you are vulnerable until the next gold window opens.

Gold vs purple states

Closed windowPurpleNoVulnerable to incoming slaps

Watch the indicator, not the enemy. The gold window is short — less than half a second. Practice in low-traffic servers before using Reflect in a crowded arena.

Reflect and glove abilities

Some glove abilities may extend, reset, or interact with the Reflect window. As of v1.0.6, the confirmed interactions are:

  • Puppet Master cooldown was reduced from 80s to 50s in v1.0.6 and now targets the player you aim at. This does not reset Reflect.
  • Dropkick air-control speed doubled in v1.0.6. Successful Dropkick hits no longer recover — the target stays down longer, making Reflect follow-ups easier to land.
  • SuperWarrior Fusion duration increased from 30s to 45s in v1.0.6. Fusion does not grant Reflect immunity.

Glove-specific Reflect interactions are confirmed on the abilities page as they are documented in-game.

Medal clips

Kills auto-create 15-second Medal clips. If you land a Reflect counter that results in a knock-off, the game saves a Medal clip automatically. Special clips trigger on 5-kill streaks. Medal clips are separate from Roblox video recording.

Moderator Reflect changes

v1.0.6 added in-game moderator controls: kick and ban. Moderators can act without leaving the arena. This does not affect the Reflect mechanic.

Reflect and God Slap

The September 2026 update (v1.0.6) nerfed God Slap heavily: price jumped from 20,000 to 100,000 Aura. Previous owners must re-unlock it. Reflect does not interact with God Slap’s special ability — the high cost is a progression gate, not a balance lever.

How to practice Reflect

  1. Join a quiet server with few players.
  2. Find a partner and agree to test timing — one slaps, one blocks.
  3. Watch the gold indicator and listen for the audio cue.
  4. Once you can block consistently, practice counter-slapping immediately after.

Do not test Reflect during an event tile when half the server is AFK-claiming — you will be too busy to watch the indicator.

Common Reflect mistakes

  1. Blocking too early (purple state) and eating the full slap.
  2. Blocking then immediately attacking instead of waiting for the counter window.
  3. Using an ability during the gold window instead of holding block.
  4. Assuming Reflect works against abilities — it only parries slaps.
FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common Phonk Slap questions.

What is the Reflect perfect parry in Phonk Slap?

Reflect is a timing-based parry introduced in v1.0.6. Block at the exact moment a slap lands to trigger a counter-attack. The window shows gold when active and purple when closed.

How do I see when Reflect is active?

Watch the Reflect indicator on your HUD. It turns gold during the active window and purple when it closes.

Does Reflect work against all attacks?

Reflect only parries regular slaps (Click / R2). Glove abilities, falls, and environmental hazards are not reflected.

What changed with Dropkick in v1.0.6?

Dropkick air-control speed doubled and successful hits no longer recover. This makes follow-up Reflect counters easier to land.

Did Reflect affect God Slap?

No. God Slap was nerfed to 100,000 Aura in v1.0.6 for progression reasons, not balance. Reflect does not interact with its ability.
